If you’re looking for a food that will naturally prevent and fill in wrinkles, Royal Jelly is a strong contender.
Royal Jelly is a thick substance produced by the endocrine glands of nurse bees for the purpose of feeding the queen bee and larvae (baby bees).
Royal Jelly contains collagen, a main protein in our connective tissues which keeps our skin youthful, smooth, and wrinkle-free. A Japanese team of scientists found in 2004 that it promotes the synthesis of new collagen in the body.
It also contains 28 trace minerals, including Sulfur (S), Zinc (Zn), Manganese (Mn), and Iron (Fe), which are essential for skin beauty.Sulfur, Manganese, and Zinc promote cell and tissue regeneration, which helps to produce collagen that has been destroyed through lifestyle factors, such as excessive exposure to the sun, alcohol consumption, and eating many advanced glycated end-products (“A.G.E.s”) in refined & processed foods. Further, iron-rich blood gives the skin a youthful, “colourful” glow.
Royal Jelly can be found in natural grocery stores, online, or at specialty stores and Markets through out Southern Ontario Markets.
It’s a little on the expensive side , so if you’re cash-strapped, a regular good quality unpasteurized or raw honey for about also contains many of the same trace minerals, including Silicon (Si). Please note that we earn no financial benefits from your purchase of any bee products.

Fujisaki Institute, Hayashibara Biochemical Laboratories, Inc. (Received June 16, 2003)(Accepted January 8, 2004)We have previously shown that royal jelly (RJ) promoted collagen production by skin fibroblasts in the presence of ascorbic acid-2-O-alpha-glucoside (AA-2G). In this study, we purified the honeybee RJ-derived collagen production-promoting factor (HBRJ-CPF) from an alkali-solubilized fraction of RJ by C18 reverse-phase column chromatography. The elution profile by the C18 column chromatography and the molecular mass of the purified HBRJ-CPF material coincided with those of 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid (10H2DA). We then examined the collagen production-promoting activities of several commercially available fatty acids contained in RJ. We found that 10H2DA and 10-hydroxydecanoic acid increased the collagen production in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, 10H2DA induced the fibroblast cell line, NHDF, to produce transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) which is an important factor for collagen production. As expected, the collagen production-promoting activity of 10H2DA was neutralized by the anti-TGF-β1 antibody. These result suggest that HBRJ-CPF identified as 10H2DA promoted the collagen production of AA-2G-treated fibroblasts by inducing TGF-β1 production.
Royal Jelly is another of Nature's Superfoods.
Royal Jelly is a special substance of the beehive. Royal Jelly is solely responsible for the incredible transformation of a queen bee from an ordinary worker bee. The queen bee begins life genetically identical to any of the sexless worker bees. A group of bees called Nurse Bees produce Royal Jelly for the hive. Thay eat large amounts of Bee Pollen to use as the raw ingredients for the production of Royal Jelly by their bodies. The Nurse Bees then secrete Royal Jelly by their pharyngeal glands. The Royal Jelly is fed directly to the "Queen To Be". Soon after starting this diet she is transformed into a larger, superior bee. She matures one and a half times faster than normal bees. She also grows 40% larger in size and weighs 60% more. During her life she will lay over 3 million eggs, which weigh more than 3500 times her body weight. She will live 5 to 7 years while the workers only live 7 to 8 weeks. All this is possible due to the miracle of royal jelly!
What Is The Composition of Royal Jelly?
Royal jelly is so complex that it has not yet been possible to fully analyze it. Of course, it is impossible to synthesize it in a lab! We do know that it contains the following: natural hormones, all of the B-complex vitamins, and it is rich in pantothenic acid. It also contains nucleic acids, essential amino acids, essential fatty acids (especially Omega 3's), acetyl choline, lecithin, collagen and gamma globulin - a key component of the immune system. Of all of the Superfoods, Royal Jelly is the most intriguing, both nutritionally and effectively! By CC Pollen
Royal Jelly Comes two ways
Fresh frozen , 1oz or 1kilo
Blended with raw honey to maintain potency and extending shelf life, 500g, 1kg
Food fit for a Queen
Royal Jelly is the entire diet of the queen bee while she goes through her transformation from larvae to pupae to young Queen. Because of this diet, rich in B vitamins and lots of proteins she will grow twice the size of the regular worker female bee, live up to 5-7 years longer then all the other bees, and she is the only one that can be fertilized and lay fertilized eggs, up to 2000 a day is studied and said.
